We view innovation as something tangible. Something our clients can experience, and something that delivers value. So, we’re always working to bring new environmentally safe and sustainable products to market, like our novel zero-waste cleaning product - CleanZero.

Reducing energy waste and emissions
At 2San, we are actively working to reduce our emissions and energy consumption both in our day-to-day operations and throughout our partner network.
We choose sea and rail freight routes over road and air where we can and deliver full container loads to minimise journey miles. We also strategically locate our distribution hubs close to our customer geographies to minimise our carbon footprint.
Our environmental management system helps us manage, monitor, and control our environmental impact and aligns to ISO 14001.
Working towards net zero
We are committed to tackling climate change and acknowledge that we have a significant role to play in both reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and providing the leadership to encourage our customers, partners, and other organisations to take action to cut theirs.
As of July 2024, 2San committed in the UK to achieving net zero emissions by 2045 when we plan to have reduced our emissions by 90%.

We partner only with logistics companies and distributors who are proactive in their approach to reducing CO2 emissions. Many of them have joined the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and the 1.5°C Supply Chain Leaders, committing to halving emissions every decade until 2050 and devoting themselves to exploring innovative ways to reach net-zero emissions.
Tackling single use plastics
2San is a leading distributor of high-quality, fully certified medical consumables. As such, we view it as our responsibility to prioritise waste reduction and single use plastics wherever possible, and to ensure our products are disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
We are currently working with our partners to develop a range of polymer plastic components that are fully recyclable and/or biodegradable and a new circular production model to encourage waste products to be returned for re-use and recycling.

We are here to drive meaningful change across the areas we work in so that everyone, no matter where they are, can access better care. We also want to support the communities we work in, through volunteering, knowledge sharing and nurturing local talented people.
We’ve, therefore, begun our journey to ‘give back’ and are proud to be in the preliminary stages of creating the ‘2San Foundation’ (2SF). 2SF’s aim is to provide life-enhancing opportunities to a diverse range of people, particularly those with barriers to health and wellbeing support, through learning and developing new skills and experiences.
