2SAN Colorectal Cancer Test
Test for early signs of bowel cancer. A simple bowel health test that reliably looks for hidden blood in the stool. Recommended if you have noticed a change in bowel habit or unexplained weight loss. This test is not suitable if you have visible rectal bleeding or anal ulceration.
An immunochemical faecal occult blood test (iFOBt or FIT) looks for tiny traces of blood in the stool that aren’t visible. Blood in the stool indicates there is bleeding in the digestive tract. This can be a sign of bowel cancer, or another medical condition, such diverticulitis, an ulcer or polyps.
