The NSW Department of Education is responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of schools and all higher education within the State. They are the largest provider of public education in Australia, and the NSW public education system itself is one of the biggest education systems in the world.

They had an urgent need to procure Rapid Antigen Test kits to help children return safely to schools as they reopened at the start of 2022. The kits would also be distributed to staff to ensure they could test regularly. All supplies needed to be approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

We were able to quickly procure our 2San Lyher testing kits, bringing in the certified product at speed from the manufacturing country of origin. The test kits are quick, and easy and can be conducted at home with accurate results in 15 minutes. We were able to fully meet all the regulations, certification and all other processes required, through the rigorous tender process.

2San was the biggest contributor to the testing programme, enabling the Education system to meet its targets by the start of the first term as promised by the State Premier.

Given the critical nature of the situation, we then set up an ongoing working partnership with the Education Authority, to ensure full visibility of the scheduled deliveries. This involved daily meetings to ensure transparent communication and updates, which enabled accurate and on time delivery.
